A Donor Advised Fund allows us to start making an impact right away. By launching Bubba’s Fund through a DAF, we can accept tax-deductible contributions immediately and collaborate with trusted local nonprofit partners to advance our shared mission.
Our goal is to make waves from day one — and this structure gives us the momentum to do just that.
In time, Bubba’s Fund intends to pursue full tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. While that process can be lengthy and complex, the DAF gives us a powerful and accountable platform to begin our work without delay.
What’s the story with the DAF (Donor Advised Fund)?
Bubba’s Fund operates as a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) within the La Crosse Area Community Foundation. This allows us to maintain full transparency and oversight while supporting a wide range of child-focused efforts, all under the guidance and structure of a trusted local institution.
